Frequently Asked Questions

  • I offer a free, initial 15-minute meeting (by phone or Zoom) to assess fit, discuss your needs, and answer any questions you may have.

  • During the first session, I’ll spend some time getting to know you, your background and personal history, and assess your symptoms and needs for therapy. We will go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

  • The fee for a session is $250 per 50-minute session. Payment is due in full at the end of each session.

  • I currently offer the first 5 sessions at a reduced rate of $190, after which the session fee will go up to my regular rate of $250.

  • Psychological services are not covered by OHIP but are partially covered by some extended health insurance plans. You will need to check with your provider to see if psychological services are covered.

  • Please contact me 24 hours in advance by phone or email to cancel/reschedule. The full session fee will apply to missed and cancelled appointments that do not meet the 24-hour cancellation policy.

  • I write letters of support for gender-affirming procedures. I follow WPATH’s Standards of Care.
